Kenneth Lee (Ken) Camp (November 1981 – October 15, 1996)
Rev. Kenneth Lee (Ken) Camp, son of Edward W. Camp, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on August 29, 1932. He attended Chattanooga State Technical Institute from 1974 – 1975, Bryan College in 1975 and Covenant College in 1976. He was also awarded a diploma from Reformed Theological Seminary, which he attended from 1976 to 1981.
In 1952, Ken married Sarah E. Lyle in Rising Fawn, Georgia on April 18. The have three children: K. Daniel, Mark Andrew and Sandra L.
Rev. Camp was licensed by Mississippi Valley Presbytery on the PCA in June 1979 and ordained on November 29, 1981 by Covenant Presbytery as Pastor of Hickory Withe Presbyterian Church. He served Hickory Withe Presbyterian Church as Pastor until 1995 and was granted the status of “Honorably Retired” by Covenant Presbytery in 1996.
Since then, Rev. Camp also served as Minister to Seniors and Minister of Visitation for First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga, Tennessee, from 1998 to 2008. In 2008 he was once again granted the status of “Honorably Retired”.
Rev. Camp and his wife moved to live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Reverend Camp has since passed away in the summer of 2011.
