Christians are free from the dominion of sin (Romans 6:14), and yet, sin remains in the life of the believer. The Apostle Peter reminds us of this – “Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh which wage war against your soul.”(1 Peter 2:11) So, if you’re a believer, don’t be surprised at the war within your soul. It is proof that the Spirit of God dwells within you and that he is creating in you a sensitivity to remaining sin.
