The sermon on Sunday, September 27, 2026, will be from Luke 8:40-56 – The Fearful and the Desperate: (Faith and humility).  “For sin will have no dominion over you…”  – Romans 6:14

The angel told Joseph – “…you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) Salvation in Christ delivers believers from the penalty and the presence of sin. The Spirit of God works powerfully through the new birth and breaks the dominion of sin in the one who trusts Christ. Paul states – “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.” (Colossians 1:13)
