The sermon on Sunday, July 5, 2026, will be from Revelation 14:1-5 – The Lamb and His Fair Army. “Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb …” – Revelation 14:1

In Revelation Chapters 12 and 13, we read of the madness and chaos on earth as the devil through his two “beasts” destroys multitudes of human beings spiritually and physically. These chapters are very unsettling and disturbing, but when one compares them with what we see on earth daily, he realizes these chapters accurately describe what perpetually takes place in a fallen, sin-cursed world. The chapters provoke the question from us (don’t they?), “Where is our Lord Jesus in all of this confusion and chaos?” Chapter 14, verses 1-5, answers our question. He is enthroned in heaven receiving the worship of his redeemed people. Does he care? Oh, yes, he cares! He reveals to his suffering 1st Century disciples what awaits them beyond the grave.
